SESAME NUTS LADDOO

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sesame seeds 
  • 1cup nuts of choice (preferably peanuts) 
  • 1 Cup jaggery 
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut 
  • 1tsp cardamom powder

Notes:

  • The number of ingredients can change as per the number of people being served.
  • If you like you can change the style and make modifications to the mentioned ingredients and recipe.

Directions:

  1. In a kadhai, roast the sesame seeds for about 2 minutes and set it aside. 
  2. Next roast the nuts of your choice. Once roasted lightly, grind them in a mixer grinder and keep it aside. 
  3. Lastly, roast the desiccated coconut to light golden brown color and remove it. 
  4. Mix all the above dry ingredients in a plate and add cardamom powder. 
  5. In the same kadhai, now add 1 cup water and jaggery. Let it cook well and darken its color. Once it thickens and starts holding shape, switch off the heat and quickly add the dry mixture and mix well. 
  6. Wait for about a minute or two and while the mixture is warm-hot start making laddoos. 
  7. Allow the laddos to cool completely at room temperature and store it in airtight container.
