    HEALTHY OATS UPMA

    Ingredients:

    • 1/2 cup rolled oats
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
    • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1/2 onion (chopped)
    • 1/4 cup peas
    • 1/4 cup carrots (grated)
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions:

    1. Roast Oats: Dry roast oats for 2 minutes until they are slightly toasted.
    2. Sauté Spices and Vegetables: Heat oil, add mustard and cumin seeds, and sauté onions and vegetables.
    3. Cook Oats: Add water (1.5 cups), salt, pepper, and oats. Cook until oats are soft.
    4. Serve: Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
