    Brown Rice Masala Khichdi

    Balanced meal for stable glucose levels

    Ingredients:

    • Brown rice – ½ cup
    • Moong dal – ¼ cup
    • Onion – 1, chopped
    • Tomato – 1, chopped
    • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
    • Jeera – ½ tsp
    • Ghee – 1 tsp
    • Salt – to taste

    Directions:

    1. Wash rice & dal thoroughly.
    2. Heat ghee in a cooker and add jeera.
    3. Add onion & tomato and sauté.
    4. Add rice, dal, turmeric & salt.
    5. Add 2.5 cups water & pressure cook for 3–4 whistles.
