    Healthy Brown Rice Pulao

    This recipe is curated to provide numerous health benefits while keeping calories to a minimum. It features powerful, nutritious, and simple ingredients.

    Ingredients:

    • 2 cups Brown Rice
    • 5 cups Water
    • 1/2 cup Peas
    • 1 and 1/2 cup Cauliflower Cut into small florets
    • 1 Red Pepper / Green Pepper
    • 1/2 cup Beans Cut into small pieces
    • 2-3 Cloves
    • 1 Blckpeppercorn
    • 1-inch Cinnamon
    • Salt to taste
    • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
    • 1 tbsp olive oil
    • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds

    Directions:

    1. Wash the rice and add it to the bowl of the rice cooker.
    2. Add water, peas, cauliflower, beans, pepper, cloves, black peppercorn, cinnamon, salt to taste, and garam masala powder.
    3. Heat olive oil in a pan.
    4. Once the oil is hot, add cumin seeds and let them crackle for a few seconds.
    5. Add the oil to the rice mixture.
    6. Close the lid of the rice cooker and switch it on.
    7. Wait for the light to come to green.
    8. Fluff the pulao gently with a fork.
    9. Serve hot with raita.
