JAIN PAV BHAJI

Ingredients:
- Medium-sized tomatoes (finely chopped) 3
- Capsicum (finely chopped) ¾ cup
- Raw bananas (boiled and peeled) 2
- Peas (boiled and mashed) ½ Cup (25grams)
- Cumin seeds (jeera) ½ tsp.
- Red chilli powder (lal mirch) – 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder (haldi) – ¼ tsp.
- Pav bhaji masala /garam masala powder 2 tsp.
- Salt to taste
- Oil 1 tsp.
- Chopped Coriander to garnish
Notes:
- The number of ingredients can change as per the number of people being served.
- If you like you can change the style and make modifications to the mentioned ingredients and recipe.
Directions:
- Heat 1 tsp oil in a pan, add jeera and let it crackle.
- Add Capsicum, Tomatoes, and all dry masala powder.
- Leave it for 2 to 3 minutes till tomatoes soften.
- Mash the boiled raw bananas and peas together.
- Add it to the tomato capsicum mixture in the pan.
- Remove it from the heat and blend nicely with hand blend.
- Do not make it very juicy, leave it to a coarse consistency.
- Let the Bhaji simmer on a low flame for 2-3 mins.
- Bhaji is ready to serve. Garnish the bhaji with fresh coriander, little butter, and serve hot with whole wheat bread and lemon halves.
