BAJRA BARFI

Nutrients

Ingredients:

  • Bajra -20 g
  • Milk -75 ml 
  • Sugar – 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg powder –  ¼ tsp 
  • Green cardamom powder – ½ tsp 
  • Sunflower seeds – for garnishing 
  • Rose petals –  for garnishing

Notes:

  • The number of ingredients can change as per the number of people being served.
  • If you like you can change the style and make modifications to the mentioned ingredients and recipe.

Directions:

  1. Clean and soak bajra overnight in a little water.
  2. Drain and remove the outer covering of the bajra.
  3. Boil milk, add bajra and keep on stirring till the bajra is cooked and the consistency is thick.
  4. Add sugar, nutmeg powder, cardamom powder and keep on stirring till all the moisture has completely dried up.
  5. Spread on a greased tray and garnish with sunflower seeds and rose petals. Cut into desired shapes and serve.
