DALIYA KHICHDI

Gut-friendly, fibre-rich comfort meal

Ingredients:

  • Daliya – ½ cup
  • Mixed vegetables – 1 cup
  • Moong dal – ¼ cup
  • Turmeric – ¼ tsp
  • Jeera – ½ tsp
  • Ghee – 1 tsp
  • Salt – to taste

Directions:

  1. Wash daliya & moong dal well.
  2. Heat ghee in a cooker and add jeera.
  3. Add vegetables and sauté.
  4. Add daliya, dal, turmeric & salt.
  5. Add 2 cups of water & pressure cook for 3 whistles.
