Balanced meal for stable glucose levels
Ingredients:
Brown rice – ½ cup
Moong dal – ¼ cup
Onion – 1, chopped
Tomato – 1, chopped
Turmeric – ¼ tsp
Jeera – ½ tsp
Ghee – 1 tsp
Salt – to taste
Directions:
Wash rice & dal thoroughly.
Heat ghee in a cooker and add jeera.
Add onion & tomato and sauté.
Add rice, dal, turmeric & salt.
Add 2.5 cups water & pressure cook for 3–4 whistles.
