SCRAMBLED EGG WRAP

Ingredients:

  • Egg whites- 3 
  • Whole wheat wrap/multigrain roti – 1 
  • Chopped Tomato- 1 small 
  • Chopped Green bell pepper 1/2 small 
  • Ground cumin- a pinch
  • Ground black pepper- a pinch
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Oil- ½ tsp

Notes:

  • The number of ingredients can change as per the number of people being served.
  • If you like you can change the style and make modifications to the mentioned ingredients and recipe.

Directions:

  1. Heat oil in a 10-inch non-stick skillet over medium heat. 
  2. Add green bell peppers, salt, ground cumin and ground black pepper. 
  3. Cook while stirring continuously, until green bell pepper becomes tender (2 to 3 minutes). 
  4. Reduce to medium-low heat. Add egg whites into the skillet. 
  5. Stir continuously with the spatula to scramble the egg white mixture.
  6. Top egg whites with tomato. 
  7. Place the wrap on a plate. Add the egg white mixture in the center of the wrap & roll the wrap. 
  8. Can serve with mint-coriander chutney.
