HEALTHY Chickpea Tikki

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup boiled chickpeas (chana)
  • ¼ cup grated carrot
  • 1 tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp oats (for binding)
  • Spices: salt, turmeric, cumin powder, chili flakes
  • 1 tsp olive oil (for shallow frying)

Directions:

  1. Mash Chickpeas: In a bowl, mash the boiled chickpeas until coarse.
  2. Add Ingredients: Mix in carrot, onion, ginger-garlic paste, oats, and spices.
  3. Form Tikkis: Shape into small patties.
    Cook: Heat olive oil in a pan and shallow-fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides.
  4. Serve: Enjoy warm with mint chutney or yogurt.
