Healthy Egg Bhurji

This recipe is curated to provide numerous health benefits while keeping calories to a minimum. It features powerful, nutritious and simple ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/2 tomato (chopped)
  • 1-2 green chilies (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp oil or ghee

Directions:

  1. Heat Oil: In a pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds.
  2. Sauté Vegetables: Add onions, green chilies, and tomatoes. Cook until soft.
  3. Add Spices: Stir in turmeric powder and salt.
  4. Cook Eggs: Crack the eggs into the pan and scramble them until fully cooked.
  5. Serve: Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with bread or paratha.
