Spicy Paprika Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Chicken thighs (boneless or bone-in)(60-75g)
  • 2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 clove minced garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger
  • onion
  • green chilli
  • tomato

Notes:

  • The number of ingredients can change as per the number of people being served.

Directions:

  1. Start by marinating the chicken. In a bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of paprika, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper, 3 cloves of minced garlic, and 1 teaspoon of grated ginger.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Allow it to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook until they are well browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add sliced onions, chopped green chili, and tomatoes. Cook for about 5 minutes until the onions are translucent and slightly caramelized.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and mix everything together. Cover the skillet and let it simmer for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. Serve the Spicy Paprika Chicken hot . Garnish with fresh cilantro leaves for an extra burst of flavor.
