Paneer Broccoli Tikkis

This recipe is curated to provide numerous health benefits while keeping calories to a minimum. It features powerful, nutritious and simple ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 50g paneer (cottage cheese), crumbled
  • 1/4 cup broccoli, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp oats flour (or ground oats)
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1 green chili, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp oil (for cooking)
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Directions:

  1. Steam the broccoli until tender and finely chop it.
  2. Mix the crumbled paneer, steamed broccoli, oats flour, cumin powder, garam masala, green chili, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Shape the mixture into small, round tikkis (patties).
  4. Heat a non-stick pan with 1/2 tsp oil.
  5. Cook the tikkis on both sides until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with chutney or yogurt dip.
