Ingredients:
- 80g paneer (cottage cheese), cubed
- 1/2 cup green peas
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 green chili, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp ghee
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 cup water (adjust as needed)
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Directions:
- Heat 1/2 tsp ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and green chili, and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are softened.
- Add green peas and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add paneer cubes and mix well. Pour in 1/4 cup water and cook for another 5-7 minutes, until the peas are tender and the paneer is heated through.
- Stir in garam masala and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
