COLD CORN LETTUCE SALAD

Nutrients

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup boiled sweet corn kernels (makai ke dane)
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup sliced capsicum
  • 1 cup sliced tomatoes
  • salt to taste

To Be Mixed Into A Dressing

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder

Notes:

  • The number of ingredients can change as per the number of people being served.
  • If you like you can change the style and make modifications to the mentioned ingredients and recipe.

Directions:

  1. Heat 2 tsp oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the corn and sauté on a high flame for 3 minutes or till they are slightly burnt. Keep aside.
  2. Heat the remaining 1 tsp of oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and capsicum and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
  3. Combine the cooked corn and onion-capsicum mixture in a deep bowl, add the tomatoes, salt and the prepared dressing, and toss well.
