Ingredients:
- Paneer 50 gms
- Fresh green peas 20 gms
- Onion, finely chopped 1 small
- Ginger-green chili paste 1 tsp
- Tomatoes, finely chopped 1 small
- Red chili powder 3/4 tsp
- Turmeric powder – a pinch
- Coriander powder 1/4 tsp
- Dry fenugreek leaves 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala powder – a pinch
- Salt – to taste
- Oil 1/2 tsp
Notes:
- The number of ingredients can change as per the number of people being served.
- If you like you can change the style and make modifications to the mentioned ingredients and recipe.
Directions:
- Heat oil in a cooking vessel, add the chopped onions and saute approximately for 4-5 minutes.
- Add ginger-green chili paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and combine.
- Add 1 tbsp of water and saute for a minute.
- Now add tomatoes and cook.
- Turn off heat and cool. Make a coarse paste with the help of a food processor.
- Return this paste to the vessel, add a cup of water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce flame, add the green peas and cook for 6 minutes.
- Add the paneer and salt and cook on a simmer flame for 7-8 minutes.
- Stir in the garam masala powder, and dry fenugreek leaves(Kasuri methi) mix well, cook for a minute. Turn off the flame.
- Let it sit for a while before serving. The gravy thickens, so at the time of serving, add a little milk and combine. Serve hot with Rotis.
