Ingredients:
- 100g chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 inch ginger, minced
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp olive oil (for grilling)
- Optional: fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
- Prepare the marinade: In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, turmeric, smoked paprika, garam masala, cayenne pepper, garlic, ginger, and salt.
- Marinate the chicken: Coat the chicken breast in the yogurt marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
- Preheat the grill: Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Lightly brush with olive oil to prevent sticking.
- Grill the chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on the grill. Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
- Garnish and serve: Optional—sprinkle with chopped cilantro for a fresh finish. Serve hot and enjoy your healthy tandoori chicken!
