    • 1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (adjust to taste)
    • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
    • Salt, to taste
    • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

    Directions:

    1. Cook Pasta: Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the red lentil pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
    2. Sauté Aromatics: In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion; sauté until soft and translucent (about 2–3 minutes).
