TANDOORI GOBHI

This recipe is curated to provide numerous health benefits while keeping calories to a minimum. It features powerful, nutritious and simple ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cauliflower florets
  • 1/2 cup plain low-fat yogurt (curd)
  • 1 tbsp tandoori masala
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix low-fat yogurt, tandoori masala, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Add cauliflower florets to the marinade and coat them well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat a grill.
  4. Arrange the marinated cauliflower florets on a baking sheet or grill rack. Drizzle lightly with 1/2 tsp oil.
  5. Bake or grill for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until the cauliflower is tender and slightly charred.
  6. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
