LENTIL SOUP [ RED ]

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup yellow lentils (moong dal), rinsed
  • 1/4 onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp oil (for cooking)
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Directions:

  1. Heat 1/2 tsp oil in a pan, sauté onions and ginger.
  2. Add lentils, turmeric, salt, and water.
  3. Cook for 10-15 minutes until lentils are soft.
  4. Blend or mash slightly for a creamy texture.
  5. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve warm.
