Ingredients:
- 1 cup grated lauki (bottle gourd)
- 1/2 cup low-fat milk
- 1 tsp ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 tbsp almond flour (optional)
- 1-2 tsp sugar substitute or honey
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp chopped almonds or pistachios (optional)
Directions:
- Prepare the Lauki: Peel and grate the lauki. Squeeze out excess water.
- Cook Lauki: Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the grated lauki for 5-6 minutes until it softens.
- Add Milk: Add low-fat milk to the pan and cook the lauki until the milk reduces.
- Sweeten: Stir in sugar substitute or honey and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Flavor and Serve: Add cardamom powder and almond flour (optional), then garnish with chopped nuts.
