Ingredients:

  • 1 cup grated lauki (bottle gourd)
  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 tsp ghee (clarified butter)

  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped almonds or pistachios (optional)

Directions:

  1. Prepare the Lauki: Peel and grate the lauki. Squeeze out excess water.
  2. Cook Lauki: Heat ghee in a pan and sauté the grated lauki for 5-6 minutes until it softens.
  3. Add Milk: Add low-fat milk to the pan and cook the lauki until the milk reduces.
  4. Sweeten: Stir in sugar substitute or honey and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Flavor and Serve: Add cardamom powder and almond flour (optional), then garnish with chopped nuts.
