Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup daliya (cracked wheat)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 onion (chopped)
- 1/2 carrot (chopped)
- 1/4 cup peas
- Salt to taste
Directions:
- Roast the Daliya: Dry roast the daliya for 2-3 minutes until slightly golden.
- Sauté Spices and Vegetables: Heat oil, add mustard seeds, onions, and vegetables. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Cook Daliya: Add water (1.5 cups), salt, and roasted daliya, cook until daliya is soft.
- Serve: Serve hot with chutney or yogurt.
