Ingredients:
- 100g chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
Directions:
- Prepare the marinade: In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.
- Marinate the chicken: Coat the chicken breast with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
- Cook the chicken: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat. Cook the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest and slice: Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.
