Ingredients:
- Apple gourds (tinda) peeled 2-3 medium
- Yogurt 50g
- Mustard seed- 1/2 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds-1/2 teaspoons
- Curry leaves- 4-5
- Fresh coriander leaves- 5-6
- Green chilies- 2
- Turmeric powder-1/4 teaspoon
- Oil- ½ teaspoon
- Salt- to taste
- Water – as required

Directions:
- Make incisions on the pieces. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add asafoetida, mustard seeds, and cumin seeds, and let the seeds splutter.
- Add curry leaves, gourds, salt, and mix well. Add turmeric powder and mix. Add ¼ cup water, mix well, cover, and cook for 1 minute. Slit green chili and add. Cover and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add ¼ cup water to the pan, cover, and cook for 5 minutes. Add yogurt and mix well.
- Roughly chop coriander leaves and add. Mix well. Cover and cook on low heat for ½ hour. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot
