GREEN MOONG KEBAB

Ingredients:
- 1 cup green moong (soaked 1 hour)
- 2 tbsp chopped garlic
- 2tbsp chopped ginger
- 2 tbsp chopped green chili
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 cup coriander and mint
- 1 tsp jeera seeds
- 1/2 tsp Black pepper
- 2 green cardamom
- 2 small cinnamon sticks
- 4-5 cloves
- 1 egg (for coating)
Notes:
- The number of ingredients can change as per the number of people being served.
- If you like you can change the style and make modifications to the mentioned ingredients and recipe.
Directions:
- Boil the green moong dal with the above ingredients till it becomes 70% cooked.
- Strain the water and keep it aside.
- After moong is cooled, blend it into a coarse paste form. Use very little water or else the mixture will become runny. Use moong water itself.
- Once the paste is formed, cool it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Remove the mixture and add the chopped onion, coriander, and mint leaves.
- Mix it well and form kebabs.
- Coat them in egg and shallow fry till golden brown. Serve immediately.
