Ingredients:
- 2 cups medium grated Beetroot
- 3 tsp Ghee/extra virgin coconut oil
- 1-2 tsp fresh Cardamom powder
- 5 cup regular milk/almond milk/coconut milk
- 1tbsp date puree
- Pinch of salt
- Nuts for garnishing.
Notes:
- The number of ingredients can change as per the number of people being served.
- If you like you can change the style and make modifications to the mentioned ingredients and recipe.
Directions:
- Take a thick bottom pan and heat the Ghee/coconut oil on medium flame. Add grated beets and saute for 3-5 minutes or until soft.
- Now add milk of your choice and cook covered until all the liquid evaporates. Keep stirring occasionally or else it may stick the pan.
- Next, add the date puree (soak dates in warm water and grind it) and allow it to cook for another minute.
- Add cardamom powder, mix well until combined and cook on low heat till it all comes together and excess moisture is absorbed.
- Garnish it with nuts of your choice. Serve hot/chilled.
